Questions and Answers

How can order cookies?
The best way to inquire about a cookie order is to complete and send the form found in the Contact Us section of this website.

How much advanced notice do you need to place an order?
It’s actually never too early to inquire about a cookie order.  The earlier the better, but this isn’t our full-time job, so availability does fill up.  We recommend at least a 2 week advanced notice.

What cookie shapes and sizes do you offer, and do they vary by price?
The Sweet Dough Sisters have well over 150 different shapes and styles of cookie cutters.  Contact us and we’ll help design (and price) your idea or theme.

Can you ship your cookies?
At this time we do not offer a shipping option outside the state of Georgia.  Due to our Georgia Cottage Food license, we are not able to ship cookies across state lines.

Where is The Sweet Dough Sisters located?
We bake and design our cookies out of Laurie’s home in Cumming, Georgia.

Do you all offer a gluten free option?
At this time we do not have a gluten free option.  Please check out our Cookies Tab >> Cookie Flavors for our variety of offerings,

How do I care for my cookies?
Each cookie is individually wrapped and heat sealed to maintain freshness.  Cookies typically don’t need to be refrigerated if consumed within 1-2 days of receipt of order.  We recommend that you keep your cookies inside and away from direct sunlight (please do not leave in a car in the Georgia summer heat).  Sealed cookies freeze really well.  If you wish to keep some in your freezer, they are good for about 6 months.

Where are the cookies baked?
All cookies are made in a Licensed Cottage Food home kitchen. Consumers are to be aware that the cookies produced in this kitchen are made with food allergens including but not limited to dairy, nuts, eggs and gluten. We cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination with other food allergens.
